Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York in the U.S.A. She is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of tough, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was born into a theatre family, her father, Romulus Linney writing plays. Linney received her degree at Brown University in 1986 and later studied at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City was her first stop in 1990. The actress immediately started performing in shows on Broadway before receiving acclaim for her roles in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
